Hello Again ~
The small towns of the old west has always interested me. I'm interested in the fact that these people have lived in these towns pretty much cut off from the rest of the country and have been so self sufficient. So many of these folks never left town for threat of Indians, outlaws, etc. They stayed there and the towns grew.
Industries that helped these towns grow were gold, silver, iron, even the railroad. However, when the mines dried up, so did many of the towns. Hence the ghost town.
I have built scale model western towns in the past. This is my final town..."Cactus Creek". So, because it's my last town, I'm building it big. I just keep building. It will end when I do.
So, if you have followed these blogs from the first one, you know I'm serious. This is number 5 in the series of blogs. So, let's continue the tour.
